Acton's summer camp, Camp Curiosity, is all about allowing time for young people to be curious and experiment in an environment where they can get messy and dig into new ideas. It provides learners with open-ended materials to create and test with and where they can celebrate failure and focus on perseverance. Some of the materials that the young people will have to explore with at camp are vinegar, baking soda, slime, cardboard, hot glue guns, salad spinners, paint, shaving cream and much more. Allowing learners to be empowered to make their own discoveries and find joy in learning!

The day will start out with a short 10 min launch to inspire curiosity. Then we will head outside where young can get started working. We will be outside most of the morning, so please have your child ready for sun exposure. Learners will also need to bring their own water bottle, snack, extra clothes and a towel. Dress them knowing that they will get messy!
